You Are Better Than You Think

A tortoise and a hare are about to race. The rabbit takes off and is winning by far. But the tortoise doesn't give up and inch by inch keeps going. So he's giving his all, and then he looks to the ground and sees a snail moving its hardest.
The tortoise sees the snail, feels sorry for it, and says to the snail "You! Get on!" and the snail gets on. So the snail and the tortoise give their all and keep on going. After a while they see a slug struggling along too.
So the tortoise sees the slug and feels really really sorry for it, and says to it, "Hey slug! You get on too!" and it gets on. But then when the slug got on, and the snail is there, the slug greets the snail and says "hello!" The snail looks back and guess what it says in return?
What did it say? "Hey, grab on tight, this dude's fast!"

You see? The snail tells the slug to hang on tight because the tortoise is fast.
